People interpreted it as "the tree does not matter at all" which is not the case.
The video was meant to explain that the Mom and the Dad are the majority of what people should be caring about.
If we don't primarily care about the Mom/Dad, you will not like the breeding results when you pair 2 things together
and you almost never get the mom/dad's qualities onto the offspring.
"DOS" (Direct Offspring) and even "Offspring further up" are able to pass on down, it just depends on the mom/dad's genetics.
Even things that you DON'T see on the tree page can show up.. something cannot be "pure" based on the tree page.
